Techno musician Moby says that if he ever has children, he hopes they’re gay. “They are less likely to get into a fight and less likely to date rape people,� the musician says, reports WENN. “I’m straight but I’ve grown up around gay people and gay clubs. They are superior to straight people. If you have a gay child you’re more inclined to be a prouder parent.�
Because raising a child properly so they won’t be a thug or date-rapist is less important than their sexuality. Also, it is worth having a child feel uncomfortable, ostracized, and in danger throughout their life so they can be “superior” to 90% (or more) of the world. I think “Moby” might be the Vegan word for “schmuck”.

if “less likely to get in a fight” excludes getting frequent mudholes stomped into you by troglodyte schoolmates, he may be right. frankly, i’d like to see his research on the “date-rape” claim. i’m sure there are a good amount of “club kids” who’ve woken up with sore assholes after a night of techno and ecstasy.
with his vast sense of “superiority”, i’m also not too sure of the “i’m straight” quote, either. the only redeeming quality of moby is head roundness comparisons to karl pilkington.

I dunno. From the stuff I’ve read, there is a distinct possibility that prolonged homosexual activity occurs in less than 5% of the people, and the 10% figure comes from anyone with a 3 or more on the Kinsey Scale. That was stuff I read in college, lo those many years ago, so I don’t have any references.
